The Craft (DIY)- Flavored up- Forever21 Dress!

A few weeks back while up in Philly I went to a Forever21 store in Jersey and honestly, it had to have been the largest Forever 21 store that I’ve every been to. There was an abundance of fashion apparel, accessories and shoes to satisfy any style preference and I can admit that I was more than a bit overwhelmed. But aside from that, I found some great items and this dress while plainly pretty in its own right, offered the perfect platform for a crafty diy project. I’ll be flavoring-up this Forever 21 dress by adding to it what were originally hair clips and possibly a necklace/chain of some sort.  Be sure to check back soon to see the final outcome (I’ll probably wear this to a Legg Mason-DC tennis match). Well, that’s all for now folks!. Read More

Zara recently had a huge sale & it goes without being said that many Zara lovers were more than happy about this! But the other side is that more than likely, we all purchased something that a lot of other Zara  lovers did too.  For instance this Organic Cotton T-Shirt.  Well, my solution to this is to add a personal pop to my Zara top.  So, here’s a sneak peek into my plan to do just that. Be sure to check back soon to see the final outcome.  Read More

At this very moment I’m busy working on my new business cards. After looking at Vistaprint, zazzle, gotprint and even talking design with my bro, I just couldn’t find what I was looking for. Especially because I wanted my business cards to represent, even on a basic level, the key points of my blog, which are, Fashion.Art.Crafts-Etcetera. So with that frame of mind, I decided to just work on them myself and I have to say that I’m loving what I have so far. Here’s a glimpse of what I’m working on.   Read More

The Craft: Do-It-Yourself: Resizing Your Elastic Belts

As some of you know, I have a belt obsession, I own over 25 belts and like  shoes or earrings,  I don’t believe that you can ever have too many. Okay, well maybe you can. LOL Back to the point at hand, I recently purchased some belts that’s are M/L in size (I typically wear a S/M). Well, you may be wondering, why would I buy belts that are M/L in  size, when I wear S/M? Well,  first because all the S/M were gone.  Secondly,  because the belts were just too cute and thirdly, they were  beyond a bargain & a steal.  Anyway, I don’t feel that you have to spend a lot of money to be fashionable. So with that being said, I decided to modify them rather than send them back (which is what I’ve done in the past). I realized that based on the elasticity of the material, I could just gather the fabric and sew it by hand, to adjust the size.  So if I can do it so can you!!! Here are the pictures and instruction below.  Read More
